Did you know?

At the age of 34, as a relatively unknown journeyman golfer, Micheel beat the world's best to win the 2003 USPGA Championship. He joined an elite band of golfers whose first PGA Tour win just happened to be in a major championship. He had won twice before as a professional.

In Asia he was successful at the 1998 Singapore Open, and in 1999 won the Nationwide Tour's Greensboro Open. 2003 was notable for being a year when all four major championships were won by first-time major winners. Micheel is a current PGA Tour player.
