Ryan Fox (NZ) won the Seve Ballesteros Award as the 2022 Player of the Year on the European (DP World) Tour, based on the votes of his peers. Fox came second in the Tour's Order of Merit (Race to Dubai) standings.

Played as the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth (Feb 14-17; Aus/Asian/Eurpn Trs event; after three rounds of strokeplay, the top 24 went into knockout matches on the final day; each match played over 6 holes). 32-year-old Ryan Fox (NZ) beat Adrian Otaegui (Esp) 3 and 2 in the 6-hole final, to record his first European Tour win. Paul Dunne (Ire) beat Scott Vincent (Zim) in the match for third place. [Lake Karrinyup CC, Perth, WA, Aus].

32-year-old Ryan Fox (Aus) won the ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit, with 2019 season earnings of A$307,925 on the Tour. Zach Murray (Aus) was second with A$230,772; Brad Kennedy (Aus) was third with A$221,771.
