Linn Grant was born into a golfing family. Her grandfather James Grant was a former Scottish Boys champion, before he emigrated to Helsingborg in Sweden from Inverness. Her father John played on both the Swedish Golf Tour and the Swedish Seniors Tour. Linn herself enjoyed great success as an amateur, both as an individual player and as a key part of the Swedish National Team in European and World amateur team events.
As a professional, in a stunning first year on the Ladies European Tour, Grant recorded four wins on the Tour (and two others on the Sunshine Ladies Tour). She finished the season in grand style, winning both the LET's Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year awards. Only four other players have achieved this feat: Laura Davies (Eng; 1985), Carlota Ciganda (Esp; 2012), Esther Henseleit (Ger; 2019) and Atthaya Thitikul (Thai; 2021).

Played as the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed (June 6-9; Eurpn Tr/Ladies Eurpn Tr event; men and women individually competing for the same trophy and same prize money). Second-placed Sebastian Söderberg (Swe) finished 1 shot behind Linn Grant (Swe), who chipped in for birdie on the final hole, to win this mixed European Tour/LET event for the second time in three years. During the season-long points chase she accumulated 3,624.91 points (and LET prize-money of €838,615). In a clean sweep of the top three places by Swedish golfers, Maja Stark (Swe) was second with 3415.14 pts (and winnings of €512,313); third was Johanna Gustavsson (Swe) 1,946.08 pts (winnings €256,270). Grant emulated Laura Davies (Eng; 1985), Carlota Ciganda (Esp; 2012), Esther Henseleit (Ger; 2019) and Atthaya Thitikul (Thai; 2021) in winning both the LET's Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year award in the same season.
