From A55 take exit 18 and follow direction A546, Conwy / Deganwy. After 3.1 miles (drive thru Deganwy) golf club is on your left (a few hundred yards after indications to Maesdu GC on your right).
North Wales Golf Club: Just to the east of Llandudno, bounded by Conwy Bay and the local railway line, you have the opportunity to discover North Wales Golf Club. In keeping with its seaside location, this is a most enjoyable and scenic links course, although not without its inherent challenges.
Looking out from the course, the variety of views seems endless. The sea and beach are relatively constant companions, joined at various points by views of the Snowdonia mountains, Llandudno, the Isle of Anglesey, Great Orme headland, two other golf courses (Maesdu across the railway and Conwy across the Bay), some local housing and the occasional passing train. You may hard pressed to concentrate on your golf - but concentrate you must.
Although quite open, there are some tough shots to make - especially on the shore-hugging 9th, 10th and 11th holes - all testing par-4's. The 4-3-3-4 ending is perhaps a bit quirky and anti-climactic, starting as it does in front of the clubhouse lounge bar. Do not always expect the course to be presented in mint condition (especially outside the summer months) - but do expect a course that grows on you as it unfolds.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
