Vinpearl, Nam Hoi An
Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An is home to an 18-hole IMG designed championship course, laid out close to, but not directly alongside the Nam Hội An (South Hội An) beach. It is part of a mega-project development area, which in time will see several more golf courses, beachside resorts, entertainment centres, casinos and the like. There are already water and safari parks beyond the course boundary.
This relatively easy-going layout, with its generously wide fairways and not overly penal bunkering, occupies flattish easy-walking terrain. The two nine-hole loops contain several ponds and drive-through waste areas, as well as rolling dunes trimmed with small Casaurina pines. Although not one of the tougher tracks here on Vietnam's "golf coast", Vinpearl Nam Hoi An offers a pleasant round on a well-crafted links-style layout.

Roughly in the centre of Vietnam's long eastern seaboard, and looking out onto the East Vietnam Sea, you'll find Da Nang, the country's fifth largest city. Head south from Da Nang towards nearby Hội An, and along the way you'll discover a growing and impressive collection of championship golf courses.
The "Da Nang-Hội An" golf destination is now home to several of Vietnam's top-rated courses, designed (or at least co-designed) by some legends of the game. Danang GC boasts two championship courses, one by Nicklaus Design, the other by Greg Norman. In addition, there's Montgomerie Links (by Monty), Vinpearl Nam Hoi An (IMG Design), and Hoiana Shores (by Robert Trent Jones Jr).
Heading inland, and on the way to a "must visit" French-themed mountain village, is the "must play" Ba Na Hills layout by Luke Donald. Just north of Da Nang is the Nick Faldo-designed Laguna Lang Co, one of Vietnam's highest rated courses.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
