Suncadia Resort (Rope Rider course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 2011

The Rope Rider course at Suncadia Resort is one of three championship layouts at this popular Cascade Mountain resort. It is kept company by the Prospector layout, and the Tom Doak-designed member-only Tumble Creek course.

This tree-lined Peter Jacobsen & Jim Hardy-designed layout should not disappoint, with many attractive parkland features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Did you know?

The Suncadia Resort sits just below the small town of Roslyn, with the Cascade Mountains all around, and magnificent Mt Rainier (aka Tacoma) away to the southwest. Roslyn once drew immigrants from around the world to work its vast seams of coal. Today, the mines are closed.

Roslyn’s small unassuming homes are former miners’ cottages, while the larger homes were often boarding houses or brothels. Many of Roslyn’s downtown buildings remain remarkably as they were in the early 1900s.
