Wolf Point Club
Wolf Point Club & Ranch was built in 2007 as a private playground for former ranch owner Al Stanger, and for the exclusive use of his family and a few very select friends. The "minimalist" Mike Nuzzo design is laid out on open ranchland, close to Carancahua Creek, equidistant between Houston and Corpus Christi on the Texas Gulf Coast.
This uber-private facility is unlikely to appear on the bucket lists of many golfers. It's name, location and the course designer all being relatively unknown to visiting golfers to the Lone Star state. Whether that will change given the impending sale of the property (in 2020) remains to be seen.
Private club - guests may only play if hosted by a member.
