The Woodlands Country Club

Private: A course for members and their invited guests only.

Est. 1978

The private Woodlands Country Club provides its members with access to five top-quality championship courses. Separately located in The Woodlands (an expansive master-planned community), the Tournament course (formerly known as TPC at The Woodlands), the Player course, and 27-hole Palmer course, each lay down their own distinctive challenge.

In addition to the above three private courses, The Woodlands Resort at the Trails property (see separate Where2Golf entry) is home to the Club's original 18-hole course, now expanded into a 36-hole facility. Here you'll find the North course (formerly known as the Panther course) and West course (formerly the Oaks course).

Winding through the village of Grogan’s Mill, the Tournament course features two clockwise nine-hole loops. Here you'll find several lakeside holes with forced water carries, natural tree lines, and pristine Bermuda fairways. It’s widely regarded as one of the top courses both in the Houston area and in Texas more broadly. It's also no stranger to top-level professional tournament play.

Pick of the holes (Tournament course): amongst many holes that are either flanked by water or need to cross water, the par-5 13th lays down one of the toughest challenges. The long water carry from the tee, is followed by an approach shot to a not overly large island green.

Limited access: the private Tournament, Player and Palmer courses are generally playable only by members and their invited guests.
