Hermitage Golf Course (President's Reserve course)

5-star: Fabulous – courses don’t get much better than this.

Est. 2000

Hermitage Golf Course is home to two excellent championship layouts. The first to be built was the General's Retreat, a Gary Roger Baird design, which opened for play in 1986. The highly-acclaimed President's Reserve, designed by Denis Griffiths, followed fourteen years later. If you have time, it's definitely worth playing both. If you are forced to pick just one, it may be worth reflecting on the fact that a President usually outranks a General.

The President's Reserve course is one of the top-rated and finest championship layouts in Tennessee. The excellent tree-lined and open parkland course contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.
