Heatherhurst (Crag)
Heatherhurst Golf Club is home to two of the five championship courses available for play in Fairfield Glade, a resort and retirement community located on the Cumberland Plateau in eastern Tennessee.
Heatherhurst's 18-hole Brae and Crag courses were both designed by Gary Roger Baird and opened in the late 1980s. The Brae was created by pairing-up the Creek and Mountain nines from the original 27-hole course, and is usually the higher rated layout. The Crag took the third nine from the original layout and nine new holes were added in 2000.
The Crag course is a generally well-regarded layout, which includes several attractive holes and features. This tree-lined parkland course will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
