LBI National takes its name from Long Beach Island, an 18-mile barrier island that lies just off the New Jersey coastline. Home to over 10,000 people, the island becomes much more populous during the summer months, when it attracts large numbers of holidaymakers.
LBI National is now part of the VIVÂMEE Hospitality group, together with the Renault Winery & Resort and Kent Island Resort on the shores of Chesapeake Bay. The golf course at Renault Winery is called Vineyard National. Kent Island is a resort without onsite golf.
