Dancing Rabbit (Azaleas)
Dancing Rabbit Golf Club (The Azaleas course): Two excellent Tom Fazio-Jerry Pate designed courses await at the wonderfully named Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, part of the Pearl River casino and golf resort. Both layouts are excellently maintained, framed by towering oaks and pines, and both weave their way through pleasantly undulating terrain.
On the Azaleas course, many beautifully crafted holes are given real character by the layout's natural elevation changes. Plenty of stylish sand-faced bunkers define the fairways and protect the greens, while the riotous bloom of the azaleas provides wonderful splashes of colour, especially in April. Comparisons with Augusta National have oft' been made.
Although several elevated tees give you a good view of the hole ahead, some fairways will feel a tad tighter than on the companion Oaks course. Rarely are they too tight to be unfair. If you do stray too far offline, your ball should be findable, most likely sitting under the trees on the pine straw. However, you'll need to be mindful of some less forgiving thicker vegetation and grassy creeks, which also occasionally come into play.
Located in a natural woodland environment, without a road or house in sight, Dancing Rabbit's two courses provide a top-quality golf experience. As a fully integrated resort, there's always the chance to win back your green fee (and more!) at the resort's gaming tables. The Azaleas course, built two years before The Oaks, is predominantly reserved for members and resort guests.
Resort guests (staying at Silver Star, Golden Moon and Dancing Rabbit Inn hotels) can book to play on weekdays and weekends.
No outside visitor play available.
Non-metal spike facility. Walking permitted. Golf carts are fitted with GPS.

Azaleas course:
Mississippi's 5th best course (Golf Digest, 2023/24).
