Alotian Club, The
Located close to, but not directly alongside Lake Maumelle in Arkansas, the private and very exclusive Alotian Club is home to a championship course that ranks with the world's best. Here you will find a Tom Fazio layout that quickly became one of the United States's most admired tree-lined parkland layouts ... for those lucky enough to be invited to play it.
The first hole of this rolling layout drops 70 feet; it's not the only hole where significant elevation change is present. The long and memorable par-3 6th also includes a substantial drop, this time a mere 85 feet from tee to green. Also much in evidence from several holes are wonderfully scenic views onto Lake Maumelle.
Limited access: this private course is generally playable only by members and their invited guests.
Private club; visitors/guests may only play if hosted by a member.

The Alotian Club gets its name from annual golf trips that were organised by its owner, Warren Stephens. He called his tour "America’s Lights Out Tour", and those who participated in it were known as The Alotians.
Warren Stephens, a successful businessman and investment banker, is the son of former Augusta National and Masters chairman Jackson T. Stephens, himself an oil tycoon and investment banker. When Warren Stephens opened his golf course to its very exclusive membership, he adopted many of the same rules of Augusta National Golf Club.
