Big Cedar (Payne's Valley)
Payne's Valley is a Tiger Woods designed 18-hole member of the Big Cedar Golf collection of courses. The inspiration of Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris, the Big Cedar resort is located in a wilderness environment close to Table Rock Lake in southern Missouri. On offer here is a unique array of 9-, 13- and 18-hole golf layouts.
Paying tribute to Ozarks-native and World Golf Hall of Fame member, Payne Stewart, Payne’s Valley is the first public-access golf course designed by Tiger Woods and his golf course design firm, TGR Design. Payne's Valley features an inviting layout, pristine water features, large fairways and greens, and a spectacular 19th hole … the Big Rock at Payne’s Valley.
Pick of the holes: Spectacular redefined! That might just be Payne Valley's 19th — a dramatic par-3 “bonus hole” featuring a narrow island green framed by a massive limestone outcrop and waterfalls. The clubhouse sits atop the outcrop ... hundreds of feet above the green — and looking down on the finish.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
