The Bog Golf Club (and especially holes 4, 5, 16 & 17) is located directly alongside the Cedarburg Bog State Natural Area, the largest intact wetland complex in southeastern Wisconsin. At 1,656 acres, the bog (or conifer swamp) is a refuge and habitat for several species of plantlife and wildlife. Once part of a large glacial lake, six lakes remain within the bog, all with varying sizes and depths.
