Gull Lake View Golf Club & Resort (Stoatin Brae course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 2017

Gull Lake View - Stoatin Brae course: The expansive Gull Lake View Resort is now home to six golf courses, offering 108 holes of championship golf. Closest to Gull Lake and the resort centre is the Gull Lake View Golf Club, comprising the East and West courses as well as onsite accommodations.

Three miles east is Stonehedge Golf Club boasting the North and South courses. In close proximity to Stonehedge is GLV's newest offering - Stoatin Brae. 12 miles out from the resort centre is Bedford Valley, home to top level professional and amateur events, including the Michigan Open and Michigan Senior Open.

All six Gull Lake View courses have been ranked alongside some of the best in Michigan. Each of the tree-lined and open parkland layouts provide a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy.

Did you know?

The golf courses at Gull Lake View, Stonehedge, Stoatin Brae and Bedford Valley are owned and managed by the Scott family. The courses are all Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuary courses.

For those not fluent in the Gaelic language, "Stoatin Brae" roughly translates as Grand Hill. "Stoatin" is an infrequently used Scottish term meaning grand, beautiful or great. "Brae" is the Scottish word for the slope or brow of a hill. The well-known highland town of Braemar, for example, means "uplands of Marr".

Stoatin Brae course:
Michigan's 34th best course (Golf Digest, 2023/24).
