The Greenbrier Golf Club (Meadows course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1911

The Greenbrier Golf Club is home to three 18-hole public-access championship golf courses, which radiate out from the same imposing clubhouse. The trio include the highly-ranked Old White TPC course, as well as the Greenbrier and Meadows courses. Located just over a mile away from the resort centre is the Greenbrier Sporting Club, home to the private, members-only Snead Course.

In 1999, The Meadows was dramatically upgraded by renowned course architect Bob Cupp, to become a serious test of skill and precision. This well-rated and pleasantly testing layout contains many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. The course shares a huge and heavily bunker-defended double green on the 18th hole with the Greenbrier course.

Most guests agree that The Meadows offers the best photographic opportunities of the three courses with its panoramic views of surrounding mountains. Many regional and state championships are contested on it annually.
