East Potomac Golf Course

3-star: Good course – an enjoyable test for your game.

Est. 1921

East Potomac Golf Course is a busy and good quality layout, popular with local golfers. It is also the closest golf course to the White House and Capitol Hill, and sits on a peninsula of land, flanked by the Potomac River on one side and the River's Washington Channel on the other.

The 18-hole, tree-lined and open parkland Blue course (as distinct from the nine-hole White and Red courses), contains a variety of attractive holes and pleasant features, which should provide an enjoyable test of golf at a generally affordable rate.

The White course is a nine-hole Executive course, comprising par 3s and par 4s that will challenge new and experienced golfers alike. The Red course is a 9-hole course of all par-3 holes. Worth a visit if you are in the area and have some time to spare.

List of courses: Around D.C. & Baltimore
