Ooltewah Club
The Ooltewah Club (formerly The Champions Club at Hampton Creek): is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. Following an ownership change in 2020, this previously public-access course became a private facility for its members.
This tree-lined and open parkland layout will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Ponds and meandering creeks play their part on about half the holes as they glide past woodland and a few stretches of upmarket housing.
Limited access: this private course is generally playable only by members and their invited guests.
Private club; visitors/guests may generally only play if hosted by a member. Contact Club to enquire if outside visitor play is possible.
Good
Formerly known as The Champions Club at Hampton Creek, The Ooltewah Club is located close to the southeastern Tennessee city of Chattanooga, which lies on the Tennessee River. It was a critical city during the American Civil War, and still is, due to it being an important railway hub. Glenn Miller and his Orchestra enhanced Chattanooga's notoriety with their 1940s hit song "Chattanooga Choo Choo".

The terminal railway station (built in 1908; first train 1909; last train 1970; hotel opened 1973) is located in downtown Chattanooga and has been converted into a charming and fun hotel.
Whether you stay in one of the Victorian train cars that line-up along the platforms (recommended!), or in a hotel suite or standard room, you can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, gardens, on-site shopping and the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel restaurants.
