Sandridge (Lakes)
Sandridge Golf Club (Lakes course): In the quiet tranquillity of Kiwanis-Hobart Park, Sandridge Golf Club boasts two excellent quality golf layouts. The basis for the club's name is clear to see on both courses, with expansive sandy waste areas and good quality bunkering throughout.
The longer Dunes course is used for top-level competition play, but its companion Lakes course will also give your game a thorough workout in a wonderfully natural, house-free setting. A long, straight par-5 gets you underway on the Lakes, while introducing you to the first of many water hazards that continually threaten alongside the fairways and around many greens.
Tall pines and plenty of dense vegetation lie in wait on a few holes, although much of this course has a predominantly open feel. But don't think open means forgiving, especially with so many small lakes present, most especially on the back-nine. The pick of the par-4s comes at the 14th, with nothing but water and one bunker awaiting any approach shots that do not find the island-green.
On these gently undulating and well-maintained holes, the constant interplay of rolling fairways, rippling earthmounds, serene lakes and an abundance of tall pines, oaks and palms always ensures a natural environment in which to enjoy this shortish, but excellent quality course.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.

Sandridge Golf Club is owned and operated as a public facility by Indian River County, and is recognized as one of the finest golf facilities on Florida's Treasure Coast.
The name "Treasure Coast" is applied to a 60-mile stretch of Florida's eastern seaboard, which runs from Sebastian in the north, down to just south of Hobe Sound. The name derives from the many Spanish galleons that were wrecked off this stretch of coastline during the 17th and 18th centuries. Many artefacts from these ships have been recovered by amateur and professional treasure-hunters.
