Palm Aire Country Club (The Cypress course)

3-PLUS: Good course - several memorable features; worthy of 3½ stars.

Est. 1972

Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach in southeastern Florida is home to three 18-hole courses. The original Palms course was designed by William Mitchell and later renovated in 1996 by Karl Litten and Lorrie Viola. Just a mile away you'll find the clubhouse for the Oaks and Cypress courses, both layouts designed by George Fazio and his nephew Tom Fazio.

Often regarded as Palm Aire's best layout, the Cypress course opened in 1972, a year after the Oaks course. The Cypress is a generally well-regarded layout, which includes several attractive holes and features. This tree-lined and open parkland course will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
