Country Club of Hilton Head

Private: A course for members and their invited guests only.

Est. 1988

Country Club of Hilton Head: you'll not feel too "crowded" here by trees or water, even though there's plenty of woodland, marshland and residential property around the course. These fairway-lining features do ensure an ever-changing environment that will hold your interest from start to finish.

The front-nine features towering pines, behind which sits relatively unobtrusive housing. The back-nine exudes a more natural feel, and includes the best of the holes, with the par-5 12th hole being the star of the show.

Your drive at the 12th brings you to the highest point on Hilton Head Island, a colossal 28.24 feet above sea level. From there its gently back down to a green that sits directly alongside Skull Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway.

The par-3 14th, with water between tee and green, also has nice views, this time over Park Creek and Port Royal Sound. (Women golfers may feel a bit short-changed, with a meagre 70-yard shot required from tee-to-green at this hole).

Limited access: this private course is generally playable only by members and their invited guests.
