Revere (Concord)
The Revere Golf Club (Concord course): The Revere and its two fabulous championship layouts, honour the legendary American patriot, Paul Revere, whose famed "midnight ride" spread the word that the "red coats are coming". Here on the hills in south Las Vegas, the Lexington and Concord courses may not cause any golfing revolutions, but they do provide stunning backdrops for you to deploy your golfing skills.
Like its Lexington sibling, the Concord is characterised by a succession of visually stunning golf holes crafted onto wonderfully undulating desert terrain. Unobtrusive and out of range real estate, allows you to fully enjoy breathtaking views over Las Vegas Valley, the city and the world-famous Strip.
Wide bermuda fairways and large undulating greens will look inviting, but profound elevation changes, plenty of mounding and bunkering, and occasional water hazards will all demand good shot-making to score well.
The front-nine is played through a dry river valley. Complementing the desert foliage are many pine trees, creating a softer look than the more ruggedly handsome Lexington layout. The gently descending opening holes of the back-nine are beautifully framed by a mountain backdrop, particularly the stretch starting with the plunging par-3 12th.
Pick of the holes: the short par-4 15th starts the climb back-up, culminating with the gently sweeping and very attractive long par-4 17th. The spectacular par-5 18th (Independence) catapults you back down into the valley, a narrow creek to be crossed in front of the green and a mere nine bunkers behind the putting surface.

Excellent
The Revere Golf Club celebrates the legacy of Paul Revere, an American silversmith and a patriot in the American Revolution. Revere was glorified after his death for his role as a messenger in the battles of Lexington and Concord, the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War.
The battles marked the outbreak of open armed conflict between Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in the mainland of British North America. They were fought on April 19, 1775, in Massachusetts Bay, within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge, near Boston. Ralph Waldo Emerson, in his Concord Hymn described the first shot fired by the Patriots as the "shot heard 'round the world".
