From Hwy 215 (Bruce Woodbury Beltway) in the southwest of Las Vegas, take exit 25 (Sahara Ave) and head west on Sahara Avenue. After o.4 miles turn left onto Red Rock Ranch Road. After 200 yards turn right onto Red Springs Drive. Follow road for o.5 miles to golf club.
Arroyo at Red Rock
The Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club is another in the excellent collection of golf courses located in Vegas's western outskirts, close to Red Rock Canyon and the wonderfully scenic Spring Mountain range.
In addition to ever-present mountain vistas (and some eastward views to the Vegas Strip), you'll also enjoy an Arnold Palmer design that's laid out on classic desert-golf terrain, weaving its way through part of Summerlin's masterplan community.
Although real estate lines many of the holes, often on both sides, there is also plenty of natural desert and desert foliage flanking the good-width fairways, which are characterised by pleasant undulations rather than dramatic elevation changes.
At times easy-going, at other times more testing, plenty of stylish bunkers is encountered en route to the greens. Around these large and sloping putting surfaces, the often prodigious bunkering generally demands an approach shot that is both high and well-judged. Water hazards also present a threat on four or five holes, generally in front of the tee-boxes rather than alongside the fairways or greenside.
The excellent closing stretch contains the relatively tight par-5 16th and gently uphill par-4 18th. Both these holes require a tee-shot over small ponds, while the tee at the par-4 10th is bordered by a cascading ornamental water feature.
Arroyo at Red Rock might not be the sternest test in Las Vegas, but it presents an enjoyable and popular desert-style layout with many picturesque mountain views.

Red Rock Country Club is home to two championship layouts. The public-access Arroyo Golf Club is flanked by Red Rock's Mountain course (also designed by Arnold Palmer), which is a private members-only layout, with many holes spectacularly bordering the Spring Mountain range.
Just three miles south of Arroyo Golf Club is its sister facility, the Siena Golf Club, which also offers 18-holes of top-quality, public-access championship golf.
