Saadiyat Beach Golf Club

Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, designed by golfing legend Gary Player, is the only true beach front course in the Arabian Gulf. The amphitheatre-style layout has many sweeping sea and beach views, and stretches to 7,800 yards from the back tees. In time it will host top-level professional events.

The course features several beach-front holes, with about a third of the layout commanding spectacular views onto the Gulf's crystal waters, fringed by pristine white sand. Every hole in this essentially open, links-like environment enjoys its own unique character. If you are not skirting directly along the beachfront, you may well be playing a hole flanked by one of three lakes. A threatening array of large, stylish, sprawling bunkers also adds to the course's obvious challenges.

Shaped in a figure eight, the course displays different varieties of native grasses, and a liberal scattering of palm trees, although nothing to disturb its dune-like openness. Saadiyat Beach provides world-class amenities, which include a golf academy, excellent practice facilities and, as seems customary in this part of the world, an iconic clubhouse.
