The three nines at Cornelia Golf Club are named after leading military figures and politicans of the Roman Empire. Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus and his brother Gaius Sempronius Gracchus were the sons of Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus the Elder and Cornelia Africana. Their family, the Gracchi branch of the gens Sempronia, was one of the most politically connected and powerful in ancient Rome.
Prince course (Gaius & Tiberius nines):
Turkey's 5th best course (Golf World, 2022).
Continental Europe's 149th best course (Golf World, 2023).
