San Antonio and Austin are only about an hour's drive from one another. Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World, is home to numerous top-quality golf courses. San Antonio boasts more than 50 golf courses giving golfers a wide range of experiences, from the TPC courses at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa to the Brackenridge Park public course, which opened nearly 100 years ago. According to USGA National Course Rating Database, TPC San Antonio (Oaks) is the toughest course in the San Antonio area.
