Good
The Chiang Mai region of Thailand is famous for its friendly people, quality of living, laidback lifestyle, handicrafts, mild climate and stunning mountain scenery. More than three-hundred temples, among them some of the most beautiful and revered in the entire Buddhist world, give the city an atmosphere of calmness and timeless elegance.
The area features plenty to do for the entire family from shopping to adventure hiking, jungle tours, rafting, elephant riding and hill tribe visits.
The Chiangmai Highlands golf course is apparently built on a ‘power spot’ - the former home of Kuba Sivichai, the revered monk who founded the famous temple on Doi Suthep. The site is breathtaking in every direction and said to tingle with an energetic aliveness.
