Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre: If golf was meant to be played in spectacular settings, then you'll find nowhere better than Crans-sur-Sierre. Perched at 5,000 feet above sea-level, in Switzerland's Valais region, you are not just continually looking at stunning high Alpine scenery, you are part of it.

The championship Severiano Ballesteros layout carries the great man's name following the design improvements he made to this immensely scenic course. It is a layout that can test the best in the game, while still giving a thrilling golf experience to the aspiring amateur.

The holes will fairly challenge you, sometimes a little bit tight between the tree-lined fairways, at other times revelling in the openness of the summer pasture environment. In winter, skiers whizz down the fairways at speed, but from late-Spring to early-Autumn the sound of club on ball is all that is heard on this wonderfully natural alpine layout.

As the best championship golf course in the high Alps, the layout is now complemented by three wonderful 9-hole courses: the par-35 Nicklaus course will give your game a full workout; the par-30 Noas will sharpen your accuracy and iron play, while the par-30 Super-Crans course is a fun Pitch & Putt layout for golfers of all abilities.
