La Cala Resort (America course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1991

La Cala Resort (America course): La Cala's Campo America course (formerly known as the North course) commands some stunning views over the sea and surrounding mountains. Don’t be surprised if the wind blows and adds to the challenge of this hilly and twisting layout. The greens are often no more than slithers and are usually elevated, requiring a high flighted ball into them.

Two very short par 3s, the 8th and 16th holes, might not underline the course's "championship" credentials, but they will require precise shots to land safely on the putting surface. Overall a good test for all golfers, with several tricky and often tight holes to negotiate.
