Camiral Golf & Wellness (formerly PGA Catalunya Resort) is home to two fine championship layouts, the Stadium and Tour courses. Originally called the Green course, the Stadium course is generally regarded as one of the best tournament layouts in continental Europe. This is a big dimension design in every respect, quite accustomed to hosting the highest level of European professional events.
The Stadium course, as distinct from the resort's shorter Tour course, is laid out in a large pine forest. The terrain here is undulating, and at times gets quite hilly. Each attractively crafted hole presents its own challenges, risks and rewards. On several occasions elevated teeing grounds provide a clear view of what's needed from the tee (and what to avoid).
While every hole is defended by excellent bunkering and large fast undulating greens, five of them require careful approach work to avoid strategically positioned greenside water hazards. Amongst many picturesque views to be enjoyed from the course, the signature par-4 13th presents a stunning panorama of the distant Montseny Massif mountain range.
In 2005 the excellent Caldes de Malavella course (as the Stadium is sometimes called) was joined by the resort's shorter Tour course. This additional 18-hole layout provides a slightly easier-going option alongside its slightly older sibling.

In 2022 the resort owners decided to ditch the world renowned PGA Catalunya title in favour of a rebranding under the name Camiral Golf & Wellness.
The resort's Stadium course (built as a potential Ryder Cup venue) has hosted many top level professional tournaments, including the 1999 Sarazen World Open, multiple Spanish Open Championships and the European Tour's Final Stage Qualifying School (2008-2014). For more details see Top golf tournaments played at PGA Catalunya.
Stadium course:
Spain's 3rd best course (Golf World, 2022).
Continental Europe's 22nd best course (Golf World, 2023).
