Elements PGR, S Africa
Elements Private Golf Reserve nestles in the scenically beautiful Waterberg Bushveld region of South Africa's Limpopo Province. Here you'll find a Peter Matkovich design that ranks with some of the best golf courses in South Africa.
With the magnificent backdrop of a wildlife reserve, this tree-lined and open parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game. Lying in a rugged rocky valley, the layout contains many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes. The two nine-hole loops bring you back to the same good-sized lake, where the par-3 9th and par-5 18th share a large double green.
Pick of the holes: the closing par-5 18th plays down hill, requiring you to avoid a bunker complex on the right, before a layup second shot. Your approach is to a double green coupled with the 9th, the entire left side of which is protected by a water hazard. The clubhouse, perched on the hill behind, awaits.
Resort guests staying at Elements Private Golf Reserve can book to play on weekdays and weekends. Outside visitors should contact the Club for playing possibilities.
Must book in advance.
