Did you know?

Waipu Golf Club is located in the Bream Bay area, between Whangārei and Mangawhai in New Zealand's Northland region. The bay was named by British explorer Captain James Cook (1728-1779), who noticed a multitude of bream in the waters of the bay ... although the fish in question was more likely to have been snapper.
