Waipu Golf Club is home to a generally well-regarded golf course, which includes several attractive holes and features. Waipu Golf Club is located in the Bream Bay area, between Whangārei and Mangawhai in New Zealand's Northland region. The bay was named by British explorer Captain James Cook (1728-1779), who noticed a multitude of bream in the waters of the bay ... although the fish in question was more likely to have been snapper.

Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
