Pantai Lagenda Golf & Country Club: COURSE WAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED in the mid-2010s.

[Original Where2Golf description]: Located near the town of Pekan, and laid out in a former coconut plantation, Pantai Lagenda enjoys a reputation as one of the best courses on the less populated and very natural east coast of the Malay peninsula.

Close to where the waters of the Pahang River flow out to South China Sea, this partly open, partly tree-lined, links-style course is long enough at 7269 yards to test the best, especially if the coastal winds are blowing.

Pahang's majestic nature, beautiful beaches, bustling townships, friendly people, unique crafts and varied cuisine make it an ideal vacation destination. Perhaps the best two of these are in western Pahang - Genting Highlands and Cameron Highlands.
