Karuizawa 72 Golf is located in a resort area under the gaze of stunning Mount Asama. The club is home to the well-rated North course, as well as five other 18-hole layouts, all designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Three separate clubhouses support this 108-hole golf facility, as well as five Prince Hotels in the local area. Nearby Mount Asama is the most active volcano on Honshu, the main island of Japan. It stands 2,568 m (8,425 ft) above sea level and has erupted on a relatively frequent basis since records began.
