Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa: RESORT & GOLF COURSES CLOSED IN 2020. The Links and Parkland courses at Donnafugata were championship layouts that ranked with some of the best in southern Italy and Sicily. Unknown if and when the courses will be restored and reopen.
[Original Where2Golf description]: The Links course is certainly open and relatively treeless, although many of the other trappings of a seaside links (rolling dunes, pot bunkers, proximity to the sea, etc) are somewhat notable by their absence. Open parkland, with a resort style feel, might be a more apt description. Certainly a good test for your all-round game, the course previously hosted the European Tour's Sicilian Open in 2011.
Course closed in 2020. Check with club, if and when it reopens.
Soft spikes only. Walking permitted. Golf carts available for hire.
