45 minute ferry journey from Singapore (Harbour Front Centre) to Bintan (Sekupang ferry terminal). Then 15 minutes by car from Sekupang.
Southlinks Country Club: Although golf on Batam doesn't always bask in the excellent reputation of neighbouring Bintan, the Southlinks Country Club enjoys a good reputation as one of the top three courses on the island.
This tropical resort stands on elevated ground, a peaceful setting adjacent to the Ladi Reservoir, with rolling countryside and tropical greenery all around. Water is a threat on many holes here.
The signature par-5 6th is an excellent risk-reward hole, inviting bigger-hitters to go for a 200-metre carry from the tee, and then the possibility of making it to an island-green with the second shot.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends. Closed Mondays.
