Kedaton Golf & Country Club, home to a locally well-regarded tree-lined parkland layout, is located on the western outskirts of Tangerang, a large city that lies just west of Jakarta.
Laid out in pairs, virtually all the holes at Kedaton are flanked by water on one side and trees separating the neighbouring hole on the other. Whether you draw or fade, water is going to be a factor on almost every tee-shot you play, while at the par-4 18th you have the option of bailing-out into Indonesia's longest fairway bunker, which stretches the full length of the right-side of the hole.

Kedaton is located just west of the city of Tangerang, which itself lies to the west of Jakarta. To the east of Jakarta is the city of Bekasi, and to the south Depok. These four large areas of urban sprawl make up what is known as Jabodetabek or Greater Jakarta, home to over 30 million people and seemingly as many cars and trucks ( ... Jakarta's road congestion is legendary!).
