Bangalore Golf Club, located near the city centre and Bangalore Race Course, is home to a locally well-regarded tree-lined parkland layout. The course is reputedly the oldest golf course outside of the British Isles, although almost 50 years younger than Royal Calcutta, the oldest golf club outside the British Isles.
