Played as the Stella Artois Players Championship (March 21-24; Sunshine Tour 2023/24 season). Second-placed Jaco Ahlers (RSA), Michael Hollick (RSA) and Haydn Porteous (RSA) finished 1 shot behind 36-year-old Heinrich Bruiners (RSA), who recorded his second Sunshine Tour win, ending 11 winless years on the Tour. Played as the Stella Artois Players Championship (Apr 13-16; Sunshine Tour 2022/23 season). Second-placed Casey Jarvis (RSA) and Peter Karmis (Greece) finished 6 shots behind 25-year-old Kyle Barker (RSA), who recorded his first Sunshine Tour win. During the third round, Jarvis shot a 59 (-13), equalling the Tour's low gross record. The only other player to shoot 59 on the Sunshine Tour was Karmis in 2009. [Dainfern CC, nr Johannesburg, RSA].

Played as the EVS South African Masters (Feb 12-15; S African Tr 1991/92 season). Second-placed Chris Williams (Eng) finished 1 shot behind Els (RSA). Els also won the PGA and Masters titles in 1992 to take the South African "Triple Crown" (the second player after Gary Player to achieve this feat). [Dainfern CC, nr Johannesburg, RSA].
Chevron Championship: Carlton Woods near Houston in Texas provides the stage for the first women’s major championship of 2025, where Nelly Korda defends her title. (April 24-27).
Soudal Open: successor to the Belgian Open, the Soudal Open takes place on the quiet, wooded North course of Rinkven Golfclub. Belgian stars Thomas Pieters and Nicolas Colsaerts will be vying for top honours. (May 22-25).
Rory McIlroy: with his 2025 win in The Masters, Rory joined the pantheon of golfing greats who have achieved a career Grand Slam of men’s majors ... Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods are the only others in this select band.
Bernhard Langer: he may have played in his last Masters Tournament, but the 67-year-old German will be trying to extend his own record, and win a 13th senior major title at the 36th Regions Tradition. (May 15-18).
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.
