Golf Club Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe is located alongside the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, a unique landscaped park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The 600-acre park is the largest hillside park in Europe, once described as "possibly the most grandiose combination of landscape and architecture created in the Baroque period". A key feature is the extraordinary Hercules monument that towers above the park. The monument can can be seen from several vantage points on the golf course.
