Golf de Saint Laurent is located in quiet woodland and rural countryside, not too far inland from the historic seaside towns of Carnac and Quiberon on the south Brittany coast. The area is renowned for its diverse array of river estuaries, lagoons, fabulous beaches, delightful villages, the Quiberon Peninsula and Bay, and several offshore islands.
Golf de Saint Laurent, with its onsite hotel, offers a well-rated 18-hole championship golf course (Les Pins), additional 9-hole par-35 course (Menhirs) and good practice facilities. On the main course the pleasantly tree-lined and often tightish fairways lead you to firm, fast and excellent greens.
Your approach shots will need to be well-judged to avoid ever-present and stylish greenside bunkering. Some of the sand traps are as big as the greens themselves. Water is seldom in play, but is a serious threat at the near-island green of the par-4 5th hole.
There are no weak holes on the course, although the short-par 4 1st may not give the best impression of the excellent challenges to come. By the time you get to the long par-4 3rd, you'll be well aware that your A-game is needed to score well on this enjoyable championship layout. The course is splendidly framed by rural countryside and impressive mature woodland.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.

The 9-hole Menhirs course at Saint Laurent takes its name from the standing stones ("menhirs" in French) of Carnac. More than 3,000 prehistoric standing stones were erected by the pre-Celtic people of Brittany, probably around 3300 BC in the Neolithic period. It is the largest such collection in the world.
