Golf de Baden: Alongside the wide river d'Auray lies this recently developed course, which embraces water, open aspects, woodland holes and plenty of uphillers and downhillers, which make full use of the undulating terrain.
The early holes offer lovely views over the river, and later the steepled-church of Baden looks down on proceedings.
The closing stretch starting at the par-4 14th contains the five strongest holes, and overcomes the feeling you get in the middle of the course that you are going over the same ground as before - the par-4 7th and 11th holes that run parallel to the same green epitomise this feeling.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance. Handicap required
Players generally walk this course. Golf carts available for hire.
