Shek O Golf & Country Club

Private: A course for members and their invited guests only.

Est. 1919

Shek O Golf & Country Club: Laid out on a stunning piece of rocky foreshore on the east side of Hong Kong Island, here you'll find another of Honk Kong's stunning seaside courses ... although this one is private, for the exclusive use of its members and their guests.

This relatively short 18-hole par-65 layout, comprises seven par-3s and 11 par-4s ... several of which are drivable for long hitters. The "seaside" front-nine loop overlooks the craggy shoreline, and is complemented by a back-nine that winds its way around a tranquil and peaceful valley. Definitely worth playing, should you get an invite.

Did you know?

Shek O Country Club is named after the nearby eponymous village, the name literally meaning "rocky bay". Although the Shek O peninsula does indeed have a very rocky foreshore, either side of it are two very popular sandy beaches, most notably Shek O Beach to the south of the village.
