Mission Hills Golf Club Shenzhen (Faldo course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1999

The Faldo course at Mission Hills Golf Club, Shenzhen is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in the province of Guangdong (formerly known as Canton). The Faldo layout represented the first "stadium" course design in China. Measuring nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, it includes many mounded amphitheatres that heighten the spectator experience.

The island green par-3 16th and drivable par-4 15th are two of China's most exciting holes and have played significant roles in many tournament outcomes. This tree-lined parkland course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy.

Co-located with the Faldo course at the Mid-Valley clubhouse is another of the top-rated Mission Hills Shenzhen layouts - the Pete Dye course. 10 km to the southeast of the clubhouse is the Mission Hills Shenzhen resort centre with five more championship courses (World Cup, Vijay, Els, Ozaki and Zhang), while 5 km to the northwest is the Mission Hills Dongguan resort and its five championship layouts (Olazabal, Annika, Rose-Poulter, Norman and Leadbetter).

You will need to be a guest at the onsite accommodations if you want to play any of the Mission Hills courses in Shenzhen and Dongguan.
