CTS Tycoon Golf Club: GOLF COURSE CLOSED IN 2017, due to the course being "too close to the large Tiegang drinking water reservoir". The closure is probably permanent; check for current status before planning a visit
[Original Where2Golf description]: The popular CTS Tycoon Golf Club in Shenzhen is home to 45 holes of golf on the A and B courses and 9-hole C-course. These predominantly tree-lined and open parkland layouts will not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy.
Located in the Bao'an District of Shenzhen, the A and B layouts were designed respectively by Japanese course architect UEHARA (and later substantially reworked by Michael Hurdzan & Dana Fry), and Pete Dye and his niece Cynthia Dye McGarey.
The 9-hole course (C-course) was designed by Bob McFarland of the United States. Floodlit facilities were installed on the C-course for night golf, and a 52-rooms 4-star hotel opened for business at the end of 2005.
Course closed in 2017. Before closure, visitors were welcome. Uncertain if and when course will reopen.
Parts of the course are floodlit for night golf. Caddies available.
