Gavea
Gavea Golf & Country Club, home to a well-rated tree-lined parkland layout, is located in São Conrado near Rio de Janeiro. Gavea is one of Brazil's best known and most exclusive golf clubs, characteristics it shares with its near neighbour, Itanhangá Golf Club.
The sometimes hilly, sometimes flatter layout at Gavea is bisected by the busy Lagao-Barra Highway. Pushing up against forested hills on its northern perimeter, the course flows down to overlook the beach on its south side. Course description, images and other details to follow.

The fashionable Gavea Golf Club was founded in 1921 as the Rio de Janeiro Golf Club. The name was changed to Gavea in 1926.
