Liverpool Golf Club: although situated in Sydney's extensive western suburbs, the course here occupies a very natural location. It sits on what is almost an island, surrounded by Prospect Creek on three sides, and Floyd Bay on the Georges River on another.
This generally well-regarded golf course includes several attractive holes and features. The tree-lined and open parkland layout will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. One to include on your play list if you are in and around Sydney.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and Sundays. Visitors welcome to play in the club's weekly Open competitions.
Must book in advance.
Non-metal spike facility. Walking permitted at all times. Golf carts available for hire (book in advance).

The current Liverpool Golf Club dates from 1931, but it had two predecesors. The first dated from 1904, but was wound-up after 10 years with the onset of the Great War. The second Liverpool Golf Club was started in the late 1920s, but lasted only a few years.
