Lomas Athletic Club
Lomas Athletic Club, home to a tree-lined and open parkland layout, is located in the southwestern suburbs of Buenos Aires. Founded as a sporting club in 1891, Lomas has a strong claim to being the oldest golf club in South America. Course description, images and other details to follow.

Lomas Athletic Club was founded by British expats in March 1891. Golf was part of LAC's core activities, giving it a claim to being South America's oldest golf club (although San Andrés Golf Club also claims this honour, based on its "founding" in 1892). The Lomas Athletic course is still in its original location, but it's not entirely clear when the course was laid out - either 1892 or 1899 seem to be possibilities.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
